Angie Babanicos has had a long and distinguished career in the insurance industry starting back in 1977. Over her 34-year career, she worked her way up the executive ladder and gained her experience by working in every sector of the business. Her career spanned from personal lines to Account Executive with a variety & complex insurance portfolio and General Manager for an insurance brokerage firm.

Angie brings to her clients, a considerable amount of skills that range from knowledge of commercial and industrial policies and wordings in the property and casualty fields, to the in-depth familiarity of the insurance marketplace.

Her ability to get close to her clients and to understand their businesses and their concerns, allows Angie to give her clients informative and relevant advice.

In 2003, after successfully managing a large insurance brokerage company since 1992, Angie decided to join Ron Adelson‘s Insurance Consulting firm. The following year she acquired the business and continues to maintain her association with Ron.

For the past nine years the company has seen a healthy & impressive growth, an increase in corporate services, and has become a leader in the Canadian Insurance Consulting business.

Marc Lachance

IMG_0136Marc is third generation insurance professional following in the footsteps of both his father and grandfather before him. When Marc started in 1969, he joined the ranks of international brokerage firms where he studied and worked in a variety of commercial and industrial accounts. He quickly went up the ranks specializing in the Marine and Aviation fields. In 1973, he was chosen to work/study in an exchange program at Lloyd’s of London, which provided him with an incredible amount of experience and inside knowledge on how the industry functions at the international level.

Marc’s abilities were recognized early on and he was given the opportunity to service complex portfolios in the North American market including the Canadian Arctic, more particularly, in Oil & Gas and in shipping sectors where he gained unparalleled experience. He left the multi-nationals and started up his own brokerage, which became recognized as one of the leading brokerage firms in the province of Quebec.

In 2008, after 40 years in the brokering business and having sold his brokerage, Marc joined Angie as a partner in AAIC. Since then the company has seen exponential growth both in gross revenues and in the services being provided to its clients.

Marc’s business acumen provides AAIC clients with an experienced business approach to purchasing insurance and risk management services. In addition to Marc’s expertise in Marine, Aviation, Bonding, Transportation and Oil & Gas, Marc has considerable experience in Life and Group Benefits coverage.
